Welcome to PaintingsByMon! I'm Monica Cortes, a 26-year-old freelance artist based in Long Island, NY. My art is complemented by my background in marketing and business, having earned both a bachelor's degree and an MBA from Monmouth University while also competing in Division 1 lacrosse.

Currently, I work at DraftKings Inc. in the Brand Partnerships department, but art remains a big part of my life. My artwork spans various mediums, including oil paints, watercolors, and colored pencils, and my subjects range from portraits to landscapes and beyond.
